These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Propel Search platform (“Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview
Propel Search is a subscription-based platform built to help jobseekers discover high-fit startup roles and prepare effectively for interviews. Key features include:
- Curated Job Discovery: High-quality roles sourced from company career pages and personalized to your background and goals.
- Interview Preparation Tools: AI-powered mock interviews and actionable feedback.
- Application Tracking: A simple kanban-style tracker to help you stay on top of your search.
These features may evolve over time as we improve the product experience.
2. Subscription and Access
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the billing period.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access will continue through the end of your current term.
- No Refunds: All sales are final. No refunds or partial credits will be issued for any reason.
3. User Privacy and Data
We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. By using Propel, you consent to the following:
- Data Usage: We collect and use your information to improve your experience on the Platform — including surfacing personalized job recommendations, tracking your progress, and tailoring interview preparation tools.
- Confidentiality: Your personal data and job search activity will never be shared with third parties for marketing or resale purposes. We may share information only as needed to operate core services (e.g., payment processing, support).
- No Ads or Resale: We do not display third-party ads or monetize user data in any form.
- Security: We implement best practice, industry-standard security measures to protect your data. That said, no system is 100% secure — by using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
4. Acceptable Use
To maintain a high-quality experience for all users, you agree to the following:
- One Account Per Person: Your login is personal and may not be shared with others. Shared access degrades the performance of the platform and is not permitted.
- No Bots or Scraping: You may not use bots, automated systems, or scraping tools to extract data or interact with the Platform.
- Fair Use: You agree to use the Platform in good faith and not in a way that disrupts or degrades the experience for others.
- Termination Rights: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused the Platform.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propel Search is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of job opportunities, interview outcomes, or access interruptions.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Massachusetts.
